Staff training
Our next staff training session will take place on Wednesday 15th May 2024, between 1pm and 4pm.
These meetings offer the practice team protected training time, therefore, whilst in progress, please only contact the surgery if you have an urgent medical matter. They also allow us the opportunity to support the Practice Team in delivering high quality patient services.
The meetings are held monthly, below are the dates for the rest of 2024.

Examples of training topics we will be covering this year are, Basic Life Support, Safeguarding for Adults & Children, Mental Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty, Information Governance, Fire Safety, Infection Control & Manual Handling.
Supporting patients with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Bereavement & Grief, and those who are Carers.
We also review situations where we could have done better, using Significant Event Learning. This enables us to discuss these situations and discuss key learning points with the Practice Team, which in turn helps us to improve our services to our patients.
